Enhancing Disease and Pest Control

Effective disease and pest control is paramount in agriculture. In addition to regular manual inspections, farmers increasingly rely on automated monitoring solutions. While drones offer a promising solution, their deployment often comes with various challenges

Our team is developing a project focused on mobile monitoring systems/complexes designed to be integrated onto agricultural machinery. These complexes will operate autonomously, leveraging data from GPS modules. When within a designated area, they will utilize cameras to capture images, which will then be processed using neural network models. Detected issues will be promptly logged and transmitted to a server for further analysis. Consequently, agronomists will have access to a detailed field map, complete with images highlighting detected anomalies at specific locations.

The successful implementation of this project requires overcoming numerous technical, software, and organizational challenges. Currently, we are finalizing the prototype of our automated monitoring complex and preparing for testing.
